Install the WordPress plugin
Add Alt Text Studio to your WordPress site from the plugin directory.
The Alt Text Studio plugin generates alt text for your Media Library automatically. For a feature overview, see the WordPress plugin page.

Check the requirements
The plugin needs WordPress 6.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.

Install from your dashboard
In wp-admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for Alt Text Studio, then click Install Now and Activate. You can also install it from the WordPress.org directory listing.

Or upload it manually
Prefer to upload? Download the plugin from the directory listing, then use Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install, and activate.

Next: connect your account
After activating, connect the plugin to your Alt Text Studio account with an API key. See Connect the plugin with your API key.
