Credits seem missing or off

Why your credit balance might not match what you expect.

Credits are deducted when generations succeed, never when they fail. If your balance looks off, here are the things to check before contacting support.

1

Failed generations don't consume credits

Network errors, blocked image fetches, AI service 5xx: none of these charge credits. Your balance only decreases on successful generation.

2

Translations multiply the cost

If you set 3 languages and Detailed text length, each image costs 2 × 3 = 6 credits. Easy to underestimate when you have a big batch. The Generate button shows the credit cost for the current settings before you spend.

3

Regeneration costs full credits each time

Every time you click Regenerate on an image, it's a fresh generation at the full credit cost. There's no discount for redoing.

4

Refresh credit balance

The balance banner sometimes shows a stale number after Stripe events. Refresh the page (Ctrl+R) to fetch the live balance from the server.

5

If the math still doesn't add up

Browse recent rows in My Library. Toggle on the optional Text Length column via the column visibility menu so you can see what was actually charged. If the totals still don't match, contact support and we'll take a look.

Credits don't expire. Unused subscription credits roll over to the next cycle, and PAYG credits stack on top.
