How to cancel your subscription
Self-service cancellation through the Stripe-powered customer portal.
Canceling stops auto-renewal. You keep your remaining credits and tier benefits until the end of the current billing period, then drop to the free tier.
Billed through Shopify? Cancel there instead
If you subscribed from inside the Shopify app, your plan lives in Shopify and there's no Stripe portal to open. Cancel it from the app's Change plan link, or by removing the app's plan in your Shopify admin. Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription too. See Billing and credits in the Shopify app.
Open the Stripe customer portal
Open My Account → Subscription → Manage subscription. Stripe's self-service portal opens in a new tab.
Cancel the plan
Click Cancel plan. Stripe shows the date your access ends (your next billing date). Confirm.
Until your access ends
You can still generate, export, and edit alt text exactly as before. Your credit balance is unchanged. My Account → Plan & credits shows the date your subscription ends.
After your access ends
Your account drops to the free tier. Your library and history stay intact (nothing is deleted). Generation defaults are preserved. Buy a new subscription anytime to upgrade back.
