Bulk generate alt text for existing images
Process your whole Media Library, or a filtered subset, in one run with pause and resume.
Already have a library full of images with no alt text? The Bulk Generate tool works through them in batches and shows live progress.

Open Bulk Generate
In wp-admin, go to Alt Text Studio → Bulk Generate.

Choose what to process
Set the Scope: *Only images missing alt text (recommended)* or *All images (overwrite existing alt text)*. Narrow it further with the Date range pickers and the Attached to post type dropdown.

Start, watch, and stop
Click Start. A progress bar shows the percentage along with generated, failed, and skipped counts. Click Stop to pause at any time; images that already processed are charged, the rest stay queued.
A large library can use a lot of credits. Check your balance and the per-image cost before starting. See how credits work.
