How it integrates

WPML treats each translated image as a separate attachment. Alt Text Studio detects WPML and generates alt text in the correct language for every translation — and when you process the primary image, translations in every configured language fire at the same time.

Under the hood

1. Plugin detects WPML via wpml_post_language_details filter.
2. For each image, reads the assigned language code and passes it to generation.
3. When the primary image is processed, Alt Text Studio walks sibling translations and generates alt text in each one.
4. Respects WPML's trid / element-translation tables for correct language mapping.
